Your New Judi Rx Card Is on the Way!

Posted on: June 25th, 2026 by TEHW

For members enrolled in a CareFirst HMO/PPO (Non-Medicare) plan, Judi Rx (formerly Capital Rx) is the current pharmacy benefits manager (PBM).

Your benefits, support, and access to care are not changing due to this transition.

There is no change to:

  • Your prescription drug coverage and benefits
  • Your pharmacy network
  • Your current prescriptions and refills
  • The way your pharmacy claims are processed
  • The amount you pay for covered prescriptions
  • Your access to member support

Judi Rx ID Cards
As of July 20, 2026, Judi Rx mailed new prescription ID cards to all non-Medicare CareFirst members. Please check your mailbox for your new ID cards, along with a detailed benefits booklet.

Capital Rx ID cards distributed earlier this year will continue to be accepted. However, members are strongly encouraged to use their new Judi Rx ID cards when filling prescriptions at their local pharmacy.

No action is needed
Continue filling your prescriptions and using your pharmacy benefits as you do today. For questions, Judi Rx Member Services are available 24 hours/ 7 days a week at 1-833-463-1656.
